IN GOD WE TRUST

“Remember the days of old … ask thy father and he will show thee … when the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance” (Dt 32:7). Look back at the role of Christianity in the founding of our nation. We will discover shocking facts and truths that have been buried under the lies of secularism. The first immigrants came to America to extend the Christian religion to those having no knowledge of the God of heaven. Wm. Bradford, leader of the Pilgrims, wrote of their desire to “advance the gospel of ye kingdom of Christ in those remote parts of ye world.” The New England Confederation (1643) states: “…one and same aim, to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.” First settlers in Carolina, Georgia,Virginia,Massachusetts, Maryland, Tennessee and other states had similar laws. They were not a band of atheists and infidels. Our Constitution bears the same commitment. George Washington and a host of others attest to the same founding principles.` The motto of the United States is “In God We Trust.” It appeared first on 2 cent coins in 1866, officially adopted in 1956. 19 million bank notes carrying these words are printed every day in Ft.Worth.
