THE BIBLE, GOD’S WORD

Genesis tells of God’s creation and of man from Adam to Noah and the flood, to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and many others. Exodus through Deuteronomy speak of choosing His people Israel through whom Christ would be born at God’s appointed time. More about God’s people is recorded from Joshua through Job. The music room begins with Psalms of David and other divine poetry ends with Song of Solomon. Next come the 17 prophetic books from Isaiah through the rest of the 39 books of the Old Testament where their telescopes of various sizes concentrate on the bright and Morning Star which was to rise over the hills of Judea for our salvation. The voice of the King of kings is heard in the New Testament books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, then the Holy Spirit descends in Acts of apostles and the church of Christ is born. Here sinners learn the way of salvation. Letters to the churches and Christians follow from Paul, Peter, James, John and Jude in Romans through Jude. Finally we step into the throne room of Revelation and get a glimpse of heaven where the King of kings in all His glory reigns in one eternal day.
